The Brew Box is a family run, Donegal based Barista coffee trailer run by us, a  husband and wife team,  Lyndsey and Joe Rodden.  We are absolutely passionate about great coffee and how it can bring people together for beach adventures and chats.  When our latch opens up it’s all about our carefully brewed coffee and little laughs with lovely people.

The trailer idea came about when my wife Lyndsey and I wanted a coffee trailer at our own wedding but couldn’t find one we loved. We both put our heads together and decided why don’t we do it ourselves! Living near the gorgeous beach of Rossnowlagh there was an opening to cater our locals and holiday makers with fresh artisan coffee. 

Beach life and coffee is just the medicine to life.

A year after starting in Rossnowlagh we realise how privileged we are to be doing something we love, right on our doorstep and with a really great bunch of people who love coffee just as much as we do!

We source our coffee from an Irish roaster, bailies coffee company, located in Belfast. We use only a single origin, which means its grown on a single farm and from a natural process. Before going into business with the coffee trailer we trained with coffee laboratory ireland and this gave us the expertise to pick our coffee roasters, while being able to bring the finest coffee to your  cup. 

Lyndsey is behind all the quirkiness and pretty things in the trailer and that includes me (ha!). She is a designer and co-owner of McGonigle Glass Studio in Donegal town so has a keen eye for detail. It’s her styling and curating of all the special little touches that allow this trailer to really stand out on a wedding day. I’m the funnier one in the relationship so I bring the craic and banter to the occasion. I’ve worked in hospitality for nearly 20 years so I’m passionate about what I do and have many a good aul yarn to tell.
